What will Occupational Therapy "look like"?

  • Occupational Therapy consists of a comprehensive evaluation to determine your child’s strengths and the “why” behind the difficulties that your child is experiencing in their day to day activities.
  • Together, we develop a strength-based plan to increase skills and improve your child’s function in their day to day life.
  • If recommended, 1 on 1 therapy sessions in your home will be scheduled to address the goals to support your child.

Benefits of Home Based Services

  • As a parent, you will learn how to use the toys that you already have to help your child gain skills
  • Therapy will focus on what is important to you as a family in your home environment
  • You will save time and energy not driving to an appointment!!
